Texas born T-Bone Walker was a staple of the L.A. blues scene for nearly 40 years, getting his start in the legendary clubs on Central Avenue. This album, which now sees a welcome reissue, was recorded during the period 1955-1959. Despite the disjointed nature of the recordings, the album remains a cohesive whole, a quintessential piece of electric West Coast blues.
