On BLACK VINYL, here's the notable score for a 1969 movie. The music was written by Morricone, conducted by Bruno Nicolai and features the choir I Cantori Moderni di Alessandro Alessandroni. The tracks alter between danceable, classical motives and romanticism with a touch of bossa nova. The compositions personificate the psychological and environmental alienation and paradox that mark the plot of the film. There is also a sense of disturbing and abstract experimentalism that make this soundtrack unique. The LP is presented in a sturdy, hand-glued cover with a folder insert featuring photos from the movie.
