On vinyl, this is a compilation of early '80s material from Berlin-based group ALU. Although the band emerged from Berlin's cassette underground, the brittle sound reminds of English acts s.a. Nocturnal Emissions or Cabaret Voltaire rather than the band's German counterparts.
