What is your guilty green secret?
Pistachio gelato. I love it.
What is your carbon footprint?
I can't remember the exact number, but I do remember that it's at the very low end. I don't own a car, I live in a tiny flat and use very little electricity when I'm at home - under £20 a month. Unfortunately, I'm about to start touring more, so that will soon change.
What was the last green thing you did?
I took the train home from Stansted airport last night.
What green thing do you do most regularly?
I stopped washing my clothes. Kidding! I take the bus and the tube as often as I can, and try to avoid hiring cars as much as possible, though I still use them a lot when I have to get somewhere with my keyboard and guitars. I've found a hybrid car service which I've used a few times.
If you could buy any green gadget, what would it be?
A fuel-efficient tour bus.
What wakes you up in a sweat in the middle of the night?
Sometimes I eat spicy food right before bedtime and I have nasty dreams. Honestly - I don't often wake up in a sweat. Should I start? I know life is scary, but I try not to think about it for the hours I'm asleep.
What skill do you have for a post-oil world?
I can knit.
What would you save come the floods?
These questions are starting to scare me ... but since you asked, I'd bring my dog and a lethal injection for both of us in case it gets too weird.
