Prone on the mortuary slab ďż˝ naked and sedated
Horrified ďż˝ undergone my sick thanatopraxis
Removing viscera ďż˝ purging fluids I extract
Arteries I deplete ďż˝ cavities filled with formalin
Antemortem disembovelment
Cotton in nostrils and throat ďż˝ slow suffocation
Muscles and fendons I snap to dislocate the stiffened limbs
Antemortem disembovelment
Face features molded from wax ďż˝ grotesque disfigurement
Effacing surgical scars ďż˝ necroplastic surgery
Glued eyelids ďż˝ hairstyled scalp
Tied-shut mouth ďż˝ face made-up
Lavaged and perfumed
The corpse is now ready to be inhumed
Antemortem disembowelment
